Chocolate Malted Cupcakes

For those of you who know me, you'll have guessed I'm a bit of a Malteser addict. These are the most delicious cupcakes and once you've eaten one you'll immediately want another.
200g self raising flour
200g caster sugar
200g Margarine/Butter
1 Tbsp Ovaltine
handful of crushed malteasers
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp milk

Buttercream
600g icing sugar                                                             preheat the oven to 170
300g unsalted softened butter
3 tsp milk
30g Cocoa
1 Tbsp horlicks
To finish
12 whole and 20 crushed malteasers

Mix the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs slowly mixing between until well combined
Fold in the flour, stir in the milk, vanilla, ovaltine and malteasers mix well to combine. Divide the mixture between 12 cupcake cases, I use an ice-cream scoop to get even cakes
Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack
Mix together the buttercream ingredients together in a freestanding machine, whip until light and fluffy. (about 8 mins)  Spoon into a piping bag and pipe swirls onto the cupcakes and top with a malteaser and crushed malteasers.
